<p>Farhan Akhtar is all set to entertain the audience with another sports drama 'Toofan'.</p> <p>The film is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Farhan will be playing the role of a National-level boxer and ‘Super 30’ fame Mrunal Thakur will be seen opposite him.</p> <p>The movie will go straight to the OTT platform skipping the theatrical release. The film will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from May 21.</p> <p>Recently Karan Johar too has penned a heart-warming note and sent his best wishes to the 'Toofan' team ahead to the trailer release.</p> <p>Farhan Akhtar, was last seen in the 2019 hit The Sky Is Pink.</p> <p>The movie is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani (Excel Entertainment), Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra (ROMP Pictures), and Farhan himself.</p> <p>"After working with Farhan in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, I was certain he would be the perfect protagonist for Toofan. The best thing about him is that he does not act the part, but lives it completely," said Rakeysh as reported by news agency ANI.</p> <p>"Toofan is a story that will motivate and inspire all of us to get out of comfort zones and fight towards achieving our dreams. We cannot wait to present our film to viewers across the globe," he added.</p>
