Don't rub Shivalingam at Ujjain's Mahakal temple, directs SC

The Supreme Court took note of the erosion and deterioration of the Shivalingam at the ancient Mahakaal temple of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. In order to preserve the temple and its idols, the Supreme Court directed that the Shivalingam inside the temple should not be rubbed by the devotees. SC
